VoIP 101 Training is the creation of Braun Mincher, who previously built and sold www.AltiTraining.com for the AltiGen IP-PBX platform. The concept of this new program is to be platform neutral (day 1), but then offer optional breakout sessions (day 2 / day 3) to allow for training on specific phone system platforms. Our intensive hands-on courses were developed with the input and guidance of VoIP carriers, providers, manufacturers, dealers, installers, and most importantly, customers and end-user system administrators. Each graduating student receives an “VCS” Certification (VoIP Certified Specialist), in addition to any platform specific designations.
In a nutshell, we have constructed an industry standard training and certification program that serves three audiences simultaneously:
The really intriguing thing is how the program is designed for service providers to benefit in multiple ways; from the aspects of building presence and brand exposure throughout the indirect channel as well as end user clients. The goal of the program is to help the students gain a deeper understanding of VoIP and its numerous benefits from a practical application standpoint, rather than from a highly technical or engineering standpoint.
